With backs turned towards her, Anemone grew to keep to herself. It’s not that she wanted to– In fact, she’d welcome most any that bother to pry beneath the walls she’s built high. However, old habits are difficult to beat down, Anemone having a knack of pushing people away instead of pulling them in, no matter how much she doesn’t mean to.
Words are difficult for her to form, silence being pushed down her throat at a young age. With monster and demon constantly directed towards her, it became normal to not speak. Her sentences are short, and it’s only if she feels comfortable around someone will she talk as if she’s… normal.
Her expression appears as emotionless as a mask, features often neutral, smiles rarely tugging upon her lips. However, despite her apparent coldness, Anemone proves quite gentle and caring as well. With a childhood of neglect, she’s become empathetic towards others, showcasing kindness, due to her wish for others not to experience the lack of she did.
Awkward around people, it’s hard for her to keep a conversation going, and often feels embarrassed by her lack of input when chatting to another.

Fear was something that ruled each member of the five member family, most of Anemone’s cousins pushing her away whenever she dared get close.
Sherry Mar - The eldest of the Mar children, and the girl’s closest friend. While her siblings treated Anemone like trash, Sherry provided kindness, something that shocked yet warmed the blonde. Older than Anemone by ten years, the last she saw of Sherry was when she decided to go to a far away college.
History:
Born to a Sylph mother and human father, Anemone was a cheerful child that loved the world around her, despite only ever knowing the man who raised her. She held curiosities of her mom, though seemed at peace in a home with only her father and herself. Lucas encouraged Anemone to embrace her heritage, the little girl often found outside their home making flowers sway left and right.
When tragedy befell her at the tender age of six, Anemone was welcomed into her aunt’s home, the family showering her in love that was different yet similar to what Lucas gave to her. However, once her powers were discovered, the love became fear and hatred, the warmth become stone cold.
It shattered the little Anemone’s heart, confused with their fright, wondering why they thought it was strange and why her father believed it to be normal.
Yet, while her younger cousins believed her to be a monster, Sherry believed she was something amazing. Sherry gave to Anemone the love that had been discarded, the girl acting as if she were the orphan’s big sister. Sherry protected Anemone from any abuse her family tried to attempt, yet these short years passed by too quickly.
Three years flew by, and just like that, Sherry was gone, sent off into the world of adulthood.
Mistreatment came in waves, as if Sherry’s family had awaited her departure. Slurs that were occasional in the past became constant, commands to keep her mouth shut when it opened to reply more frequent than she ever recalled. Seven long years of emotional pain causes damages that cannot be reverted, so, when a letter came, Anemone leaped at the chance to leave the
They too seemed to wish to rid themselves of the stain, and so, Anemone was sent away, and although far from those that caused them, the burdens still remain heavy upon her shoulders.
