BASICS
Name: Kai Suzuki (first name, last name)Nickname: None at the moment.
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Panromantic/pansexual?
Birthday: June 6th
CLASSIFICATIONS
Race: Part-rain sprite
Powers:
Rain inducement- He can induce rain—to a small degree. At this point it would be more accurate to say that around him there is a more likely chance it will rain, and that it tends to rain more wherever he is. He doesn’t particularly have any control over this power; rather it is just a part of his being. It isn't constantly raining around him however, seeing that his power is rather weak.
Water manipulation- He has only a very small control over water, mostly only when it is raining. At most he is only able to form water into various shapes, a parlor trick more than anything else.
PHYSICAL
Height/Weight: 5’6”/120lbs
Appearance: Pictured here.
Kai is a lithe boy of blue hair and grey eyes; he is of thin stature, seemingly never gaining weight despite the amount of food he consumes. He is pale, mostly from a lack of sun, and neither very muscular nor very tall. He is of more supple, pliant build, and very unsuited for physical labor of any sort.
Markings: Nothing of note apart from a small mole on his shoulder.
Hindrances: Not very physically fit or strong. He is easily fatigued by exercise, and also easily fatigued on hot days.
Faceclaim: Minato Arisato-Persona 3
MENTAL
Personality:
Not one for many words, there is an almost constant air of silence around Kai. He usually finds no need to articulate his thoughts into words, preferring instead to remain quiet amidst the company of almost anyone he is with. Words do not come easy to him, nor does he feel the need to voice them often anyway, perfectly fine in basking in the silence or listening to whoever is in his company. Interactions are kept brief mostly due to his own inability to fully, verbally express himself. He doesn’t really know how to act around others, particularly those who are around his age.
More often than not, he is lost in his own world; a sleepy sort of boy. Expressions tend to vary between blank, confused, and perhaps, on rare occasions, a hint of a smile. His headphones and music are his security blanket, things he gladly retreats to in lieu of most interactions. Though, he is not truly adverse to people, but he finds comfort in the soft hum of notes. His head is often in the clouds; a carefree boy who is probably too absent-minded for his own good. He is a very calm individual, not unkind to any degree, and will gladly help people if he can truly do so.

History:
It was with surprise, slight amusement, and a glad acceptance that Kaoru Suzuki and Yuki Suzuki received their son. Though he looked disparately different from them, it was with love that they both greeted him. A story, one heard from his mother, Sayuri Suzuki, was brought to mind the moment Kaoru laid eyes on his son; a story of a man and a woman who met under the rain.
A happy family they remained until tragedy struck, and Kai was left without a mother at the young age of two, far too young to remember much about her. Despite that, Kai lived a relatively simple childhood, the best his father could provide; he was never left with want of anything, though he also had nothing of extravagance. It was with devotion that his father raised him, as if to make up for the absence of his mother, who died far too young, too soon, taken by disease.
The only strange occurrences of note would be the unusually high concentration of rain in the area where they lived and to each area they travelled to. The rainy season dragged on, but of course, that could only be the fault of some strange, natural force, or so everyone believed. A creeping sense of awareness began to overtake Kai, however. It was as if the rain had followed him. The complaints poured in around him, not directed at him of course, but he couldn’t help but feel some vague guilt.
Nevertheless, this simple life was soon interrupted as Kai’s father was ordered to transfer overseas when Kai turned 16. Not wanting to stand in the way of his father, yet also not wanting to leave he has ever known, Kai opted to stay behind despite his father's protests. He was offered a place at his grandmother’s, deep in the countryside, one he gladly took. Sayuri, though on in years, with a failing memory did her best to care for Kai, as much as she could, and he in turn took care of her. She spoke often of how Kai reminded her of the man she once loved, a man who disappeared as suddenly as he had appeared under the cover of rain. It was with peace that their days passed, but soon even that came to an end. Her ailing health brought her to the hospital, and soon she passed, leaving him behind.
It was then that a letter came for Kai, a sliver of hope for him. An offer to Finix Academy—one he leapt at.
