Powers:
Healing - Luca is a healer. His healing magic is dependent on the moon. When it's at its fullest, he can heal just about anything except death. As the moon wanes, he grows weaker and weaker. This is because the Yin is stronger in him. He a can also calm the mood of people around him, which relieves whatever stress they feel, until they leave his range.
Premonition - Because he is the child of a spirit, Luca can connect with the spirit realm. On the night of the full moon, he meditates, and slips over. He receives fragmented visions of the future that usually don't make sense until they pass.
PHYSICAL:
Height/Weight: 5' 4, and 109 IBS.
Appearance: For being 23 years old, Luca looks like a 13 year old. He's not very tall and is a bit skinny. His hair is a light lavender color and falls over one eye. His visible eye is almost black, and it is widely assumed that the other is white. His skin is incredibly pale, although he spends a lot of time outside.
Luca wears a bright pink hoodie with a panda like hood. Over the hoodie, is a light pink jacket. His undershirt is blue and his pants are purple. He likes to roll his pants up over his ankles, and he typically doesn't wear shoes. his feet are always dirty, though he does wash hem at least once a day.
Sometimes he can be seen carrying around a small plushie panda. It's important to him, and he doesn't like when it's out of his sight, so he ties it to one of his belt loops.
Markings?: Over his hidden eye, partially seen, is a black spot. His right hand, as well, is black until just below his elbow. He has a few other spots, but they're not visible.

MENTAL
Personality: Luca is an easy-going, laid back guy. He may be 23, but he acts the same age as he looks--13. Despite that, he is very intelligent, and enjoys learning over other things. He loves teaching, and cares greatly for the students that pass under his watch.
Once night falls, Luca climbs the roof of the school as high as he can, lays out a blanket, and promptly starts reading by moonlight. The only time he doesn't do this is when it's raining or snowing. He gets cold easily, though he believes that's just because of his spirit blood.
He will always lend an ear if someone's day turns sour. He likes to think of himself as a therapist, because of the calming waves around him, and he always knows exactly what to say make someone feel better.
Health issues?: He does have a severe case of insomnia, but he just can't sleep when the moon is out. On nights when it's cloudy, he'll sleep like death has taken him.

History: Luca lived a quiet life with his human father. He was born and raised in the mountains of china, away from the bustling cities. The only people he knew were the five other children he attended school with, and his teacher. Luca has little memories of his mother, who left when he was 3. His father raised him with much love, but the other kids at school shunned him. They were terrified of his unnatural hair color, and the spots that appeared across his body. They believed he had a disease of some sort.
Eventually, Aaron pulled Luca out of school to homeschool him. Aaron wasn't chinese, but he was a professor that had studied chinese culture, and that had brought him to meet Luca's mother. Aaron taught Luca of the ancient myths, and as he learned more, Luca's abilities began to bloom. At first, it was only small creatures, such as mice and birds, that Luca could heal.
Then, when Luca was 9, Aaron fell terribly ill. Luca's powers were unable to heal him--the moon was at it's smallest--and Aaron died a few days later. Luca remained up in the mountains, isolated. He never slept, but when he did, he would slip over into the spirit realm. It was easier for him to break free of it's hold on the new moon, but as the moon grew fuller, it would grow more difficult. On the night of the full moon, he wasn't able to escape at all.
What saved him was his mother. She banished him from the spirit realm, so he could only come on the full moon, and when he is in deep concentration. It saved his life, and kept the interested (and malevolent) creatures at bay. An began to train Luca to use his powers in tune with the moon, and he learned that she was the Yin spirit.
Luca was 13 when the letter to Finix arrived. At first, e was inclined to stay in the mountains, but when he talked to his mother, she persuaded him that it was a good idea to attend. Eventually, he did, and he fell in love with the school. There, he learned that while his mother was a full Yin spirit, his father had (unknowingly) been the son of the Yang spirit, which was what drew An to Aaron.
Once Luca graduated, he decided to remain at the school and teach. It was his passion, as it had once been his father's.
